The "androgenetic" attribute is due to one of its triggering causes, the androgenic hormone DHT, dihydrotestosterone, which is formed from the interaction between the 5-alpha reductase enzyme and testosterone.
The goal of an effective and lasting treatment is to inhibit the enzyme to slow down the evolution of the anomaly, make the hair strong, bright and toned.
